I always imagined that marketing and IT (information technology) would someday converge. So I started my knowledge search in 1998 to help me understand not only how they work, but how they are constructed.
Today we are implementing processes and technologies to successfully market our business with the click of a few buttons. We are able to create visually pleasing content that stimulates people and motivates them to take action either by email or phone.
I wanted to understand the real estate business in order to discover or even create the best ways to project content that stimulates prospects and ultimately, benefits the company.
My challenges now involve the integration of the web, marketing and social networks and understanding how social networking can benefit real estate clients, customers, and broker/owners. Very, very interesting stuff indeed!
I joined Think Real Estate in August 2006, and learned the business when times were relatively good and when times were bad…great learning experience.
Although I still work with buyers and sellers, my primary focus has shifted to improving the real estate business for agents and clients by making information accessible and relevant by using emerging technology.
Bottom line: I focus on new technologies, hardware and software, and implement what makes sense, does not break the bank and promises a good return on investment for my real estate clients.
I am excited about the future of Real Estate in Massachusetts, and specifically Newton.
