Internship Program Thrives
Think Real Estate’s internship program provides you with all of the tools, training and expertise you need to excel in the rental industry in today’s market. Think delivers an orientation week at the beginning of the summer where you learn the office’s software and visit many of the complexes and apartment buildings in the area, providing you with an appreciation of the immediate market. Interns also engage in a number of “mock” showings that engender the confidence needed to show your first place!A great feature of the program is that it includes everyone in the office as part of the intern experience. The office atmosphere is one of collaboration, which facilitates the learning experience and allows you to ask anyone for advice or help. You’ll get the answer you need and often a new perspective on the problem. Agents and management work together for the greater benefit of all, from helping one another with a showing, to covering a shift or answering a question. Everyone is ready to help you get on your feet and start signing leases!
It’s an exciting experience that provides an intern with real life knowledge and skills for a real job. You learn how to contact landlords and agents, organize and schedule showings with clients, and every step of the closing process. You also work with a manager who is dedicated to helping you with your showings, listings, and leases, and advise you on any decision you are confused or worried about. Having someone on whom you can rely is priceless, and it is extremely valuable, especially in the beginning when you may be lost or confused.
This internship teaches you everything you need, and you leave knowing that you made an excellent decision to work here. The best part is that you reap from what you sow. The harder you work, and the more time you put in, the more you achieve and the more money you can make. An intern’s motivation is fueled not only fiscally, but by the drive to learn, succeed, and rise to the top.

My name is David, and this fall I will be entering my senior year as an undergraduate business student at Brandeis University. As I write this, I am halfway through my summer internship with Think Real Estate Services, and must say that I am very happy so far with my experience here. I didn’t necessarily expect to be a real estate agent for the summer, and can honestly say I did not fully understand what the job entailed before I started, but Think has done everything to ensure that I have a successful summer both in terms of a real world experience and receiving a strong financial reward for my success. I would strongly recommend spending a summer with Think for two major reasons: the nature of the job itself, and the people who surround and support you at Think.
As a real estate agent, I am responsible for carrying out every stage of putting together a deal. It begins with acquiring listings and getting access to properties, then goes into advertisements, finding clients, accompanying them to apartments, and finally “selling” the property to the client and the client to the landlord. This may sound like a lot of responsibility, and it certainly is, but the opportunity to be involved in every step of the deal has given me a great appreciation for what it takes to make business happen. Additionally, as a rental agent, one has a great deal of autonomy and self reliance, challenging me with choices about full time work hours at unconventional times. I’ve also learned a great deal about what I can do to motivate myself.
Finally, the people at Think have been incredibly helpful to me. Everyone from the bosses at the top, to the experienced agents, to the other interns, have been supportive and offered assistance both when I ask for it and when I have not. This is especially impressive in a business where even agents in the same office are really competing with each other for business. I honestly feel that the people at Think care about my successes, not just in terms of revenue I bring to the business, but also that I have an enjoyable and educational experience here. In short, Think has offered me a summer opportunity that has been fun, meaningful, and financially beneficial. What more could you want?

Working at Think Real Estate this summer has been a great experience. Not only have I acquired knowledge about the residential real estate industry, but also sales and how to interact with people in a professional setting. Think Real Estate has done everything to prepare me for this experience, and it has made the learning curve much easier.
It is rare to find an internship program, especially in real estate, that can offer you such individual attention and instruction. Everyone in the office is willing to help out and answer any question that I may have. All agents get along very well and cooperate, making the work enjoyable. The real estate industry is a complex one, and without help from people at Think like Alex and Ken, it would have been much harder to adjust.
The time I have spent with Think has been very positive and beneficial for me as a person and a professional. The internship program at is a highly productive learning experience, and I would recommend it to other college students interested in working in real estate.
